Founding Chairman of the Digital Healthcare Innovation Summit
Brandon Hull was the founding Chairman of the DHIS, and chaired the program for its first two years. He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cardinal Partners, a medical and life sciences venture capital partnership established in 1996. He began his career as a VC in 1991 as a principal of the Edison Venture Fund, where he directed healthcare investing activities and served on the boards of the fund’s healthcare portfolio companies. His extensive investment experience includes all facets of health care services, information systems, medical products & devices, as well as a variety of IT companies in other vertical sectors. Brandon has been a pioneer investor in cloud-based, SAAS HIT companies, and was a first-round investor in such notable companies as Athenahealth, Coderyte, Visicu, and QPID.
Brandon currently serves as a director of AthenaHealth (Lead Director), Awarepoint, Brighton Health Group (AKA Privia), CureAtr, Vitals, Ivenix and Teladoc (observer).
Brandon received his BA from Wheaton College (IL) and his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
