Carolyn is the CEO of Aetion, a healthcare technology company that delivers the real-world analytics, technology platform and evidence needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of medical treatments and clinical decision-making.
She has held leadership roles at several companies at the forefront of the transition to value-based care. Before joining Aetion, Carolyn was CEO of Remedy Partners, an organization providing software and services for bundled payment programs. Prior to that, Carolyn served as EVP of Payer Strategy and Operations at Evolent Health, leading efforts to operationalize value-based payer contracts and provider-led health plans. Carolyn has also served in leadership roles within the Medicare and Medicaid businesses of UnitedHealth Group, including COO of the Medicaid plan in New Jersey, and Vice President of Medicare Special Needs Plans.
Carolyn earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her MBA in healthcare management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
